Where your data lives
- Stored in India
- Your organisation's event data is stored in India, and it travels encrypted (HTTPS).
- Named providers
- Email goes through Amazon SES in its Mumbai region, WhatsApp through Gupshup and Meta, and SMS through MSG91 under TRAI's DLT rules.
- Your money stays yours
- Fees go to your own Razorpay account and Eventboard never holds them. Your Razorpay keys are stored encrypted.
- Less to lose
- Eventboard's own forms never ask for Aadhaar or other national ID numbers, and card details stay with Razorpay.
Who can see what
- Each organisation apart
- Every organisation works in its own isolated space, and every request is checked on the server against the organisation, the event and the person.
- Roles and functions
- Admins, staff and viewers, plus functions on each event (Registrations, Check-In Crew, the VIP desks and more), so each person sees only their part.
- Need to know for VIPs
- VIP travel, stays, contacts and security notes are seen only by the organiser, admins, the desk concerned and the VIP's liaison officer.
- Private files stay private
- E-tickets, badge batches and certificate files are kept in private storage and downloaded only after a permission check.
Signing in
- Named accounts
- Everyone on a team signs in with their own account, and nobody sets another person's password.
- Two-step sign-in
- An authenticator app, or a code by WhatsApp or SMS, with recovery codes. Each organisation can require it of its admins or of everyone.
- Devices you can see
- Every sign-in is listed by device. Sign one out, or every device at once.
- No guessing
- Sign-in, codes and private links are rate-limited, and private links are long random keys that can't be guessed.
Consent and messages
- Consent recorded
- WhatsApp consent is recorded and traceable, and its box always starts unticked.
- An opt-out on every message
- Opting out stops that channel for that person across all of your organisation's events.
- Where contacts came from
- The source of every imported contact is recorded with it.
- No tracking you didn't ask for
- Emails carry no open-tracking pixel, and people's private pages are kept out of search engines.
Accessibility and languages
- WCAG 2.1 AA
- Event websites aim at WCAG 2.1 AA, and the main pages are checked automatically with axe.
- English, Telugu and Hindi
- Every event website can be offered in all three, with your own translations.
- Any phone, any laptop
- The team works in a browser, and passes are scanned with a phone's camera. No special hardware.
- Consent for analytics
- Your Google Analytics and Meta Pixel load on an event's website only after the visitor agrees.
Who you are dealing with
Eventboard is built and run by WML IT Solutions, Hyderabad. For your organisation's events we process data only on your instructions, as your data processor; you decide what is collected and why.
